Two
Technologies, Inc™ Joins AIM Global
Signals Commitment to Automatic
Identification and Mobile Solutions
Horsham, PA – September 1, 2005 -Two
Technologies, Inc. announced it has
joined AIM Global, the association
for Automatic Identification and
Mobility and the voice of
technologies such as bar code, RFID,
and enterprise mobile computing. As
a member of AIM Global, Two
Technologies conveys its commitment
to the growth of automatic
identification and mobility
solutions through industry standards
development, advocacy and the
support of a global channel network.
“AIM
Global’s commitment toward the
adoption of AIDC technologies in the
mobile market is synergistic with
Two Technologies’ leadership role in
the hardware solutions we provide
with such products as the JETT®•RFID+,”
says Eric Eckstein, Vice President
of Strategic Planning at Two
Technologies. “Two Technologies
views this new partnership with
great anticipation toward the
development of new hardware
technologies in Automatic
Identification and Mobility
technology solutions.”
Two
Technologies, a U.S.- based hardware
manufacturer, has focused
specifically on customizable hand
held computers since its inception
in 1987. The recently released
JETT•RFID+ is the latest of the
company’s 13.56MHz RFID Automatic
Identification mobile computer
hardware solutions. The integral
RFID Software Designed Radio (SDR)
technology developed by Two
Technologies provides easy software
based upgrading of the unit as RFID
Tag protocols change or new ones are
developed. A few of the protocols
supported are ISO15693, ISO14446A,
ISO14446B and ISO 18000-3 as
delivered from all major
manufactures of inlays and tags.
JETT•RFID+ also incorporates an
innovative unique adjustable antenna
which allows for reading of 13.56MHz
tags in virtually any orientation.
This innovation alleviates the
issues with HF RFID tag orientation
in many applications, including
supply chain, payment collection,
library systems, security and
electronic access control markets.
Two
Technologies’ GEM Partner Program
aligns closely with AIM Global’s
goal to create a quality network of
resellers and integrators that
design and offer a broad scope of
AIDC products. The company focuses
its development exclusively within
the program, which is designed to
provide products and services to
extend partners’ solution offerings
and provide value to their
customers. The GEM Program’s
channel customers are value-added
resellers, systems integrators, and
original equipment manufacturers
(OEMs) serving a broad scope of
vertical markets, including survey,
transportation, municipal
police/fire/government, forestry,
agriculture, supply chain, security
and automatic meter reading. It
offers biannual conferences to its
partners focused on providing
information to assist them in
expanding their offerings and
increasing sales.
"We
applaud Two Technologies’ commitment
to partnering with us in the
development of standards and
educational materials for Automatic
Identification and Mobility

Two Technologies, Inc. obtains IP65
rating for the JETT®•ce
and JETT®•RFID
hand-held computers |
|
Horsham, Pennsylvania, February 28,
2005 – Two Technologies, Inc., an ISO9001 registered company and
leading manufacturer of customizable rugged hand-held terminal and
computer products, is pleased to announce that its JETT®•ce
and JETT®•RFID line of hand-held computers are now
available tested to an IP65 rating.
The ingress protection (IP) rating,
defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission in
publication IEC 529, is a two digit, standardized scale that
indicates the extent to which equipment is protected against the
invasion of dust and water. The first number of the rating indicates
the degree of protection from solids and the second against liquids.
The higher the number, the more protected the equipment is.
An IP65 rating means that both the
JETT®•ce and the JETT®•RFID are completely dust-tight and can
withstand exposure to jets of water. “We have subjected the JETT®•ce
and JETT®•RFID to the most rigorous and extreme test environments,”
said Russ Maynard, Vice President of Applications Development. “By
achieving the IP65 rating, we are demonstrating Two Technologies, Inc.’
